With aid from congregational ministries, Mid-South district offices, and Synodical offices, Redeemer supports relief organizations that aid people outside our state and country.
Cheer Club meets twice a month and makes quilts for world relief organizations as well as organizations in our community.
Through various fundraising efforts, Vespers supports several mission projects such as support for a child through World Vision, a seminary student at the Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and Lutheran Bible translators.
Prior to the Christmas season, Redeemer packs shoeboxes to send to the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.
